Chalfont St Giles on the TV and radio
We knew it already, but Channel Five's "Property List" programme announced (on 12th June 2008) that Chalfont St Giles was "Britain's Most Perfect Village".
And those fine volunteers who run the Community Library were featured on the BBC's The One Show twice.
And on 17th July 2008 ITV's "Tales From The Country" featured our very own Gordon Patrick with Selina Scott in a feature about the River Misbourne and its habit of disappearing. Parts 1 and 2 on Youtube
