Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Senior Section are very active in Chalfont St Giles and have a history stretching back over 70 years. At present they include one Rainbow unit, three Brownie packs, two Guide units and a Rangers (Senior Section) unit. All groups meet at the Guide Centre in School Lane (opposite the Infant School and Memorial Hall).

 

The Rainbows are open to girls aged 5 to 7 years and meet on:

Tuesdays 3.30pm to 4.45pm

 

The Brownies are open to girls aged 7 to 10 years and meet on:

Mondays 5.15pm to 6.45pm

Wednesdays 6.00pm to 7.30pm

Thursdays 5.30pm to 7.00pm

 

The Guides welcome girls aged 10 years upwards and meet on:

Mondays 7.00pm to 9.00pm

Tuesdays 7.30pm to 9.00pm

 

The Rangers (Senior Section) is for girls aged 14 upwards who meet on alternate Fridays, organising their own activities.

 

The County also runs a Duke of Edinburgh Award Group helping young people aged 14 to 25 years to achieve their Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
